Hey Deviants.

I found the greatest place EVER!! XD (exaggeration.) But, first...a bit of explanation. Okay...so you want to start a petition weather it's to bring an awesome game to the Ds or put your favorite show on the air. But you have NO idea where you can get the amount of people you need to sign it.

Well FEAR NO LONGER! For I have found this place [link] It's called petitionspot, yes you have to register. But after that you can sign existing petitions or make your own. It's great!!! It might even work!!!

Okay. but, I need you guys to spread the word. So please copy and paste my message to your journals and tell your friends to do the same thing. This way almost everyone will know if people decide to participate... ^.^

Right Well DA thought it would be funny to delete our ID saying it was copyright violation? huh?.
if my ID is copyright Violation then why arnt the submissions we do aswell.
Which ever twat reported us then.Thanyou ^.^
Just gives us an excuse for a contest.

Anyway the contest is a new ID.

For obvious reasons lets make it be trunks. and also it would be nice if the club name was in the ID too.

and i guess to shut DA up it might be an idea to draw trunks.
But you dont have to....If they delete it i'll just report their arses for a shitty system.


Theres not really going to be a deadline untill i get over 3/4 entry's as i only got 2 on the last one. (and forgot about the contest too )

The new way to submitt is not in order yet untill i can fully get my head around it but for now..//

But dont worry you can still send work to be submitted...it will just roll over untill the submissions restart.

One major complaint about the old way of running a club (i.e. uploading a copy of the piece in the gallery) is that when someone searches, they get multiple copies of the same art. It is clogging up the gallery, taking up server space on dA, and demotivates people to find new art. I see it as damaging dA, so a clean-up would help a lot.

Also a major consideration, it's easier for people browsing the submissions to fave things. You may not know, but you can simply click and drag thumbnails, and a collection pane drops down at the top of the screen. The first collection is always 'favourites', so you don't need to visit the submission page to fave it - you can just do it from the thumbnail.


And the original artist gets the glory (i.e. faves, views). Because the fact that people can fave from the thumbs also leads to problems - people fave gallery pieces because they didn't know. But if the gallery pieces aren't there, then the original artist will always get the credit. And that is what clubs are for - exposing art to a wider audience and making sure the original artist gets the credit. We ARE dedicated to that - we wouldn't spend countless hours sending out "plz remove the fave" notes if we didn't feel strongly about it. (and im always telling you lot to stop faving..But you do it anyway)

I havent yet got my head completly around this new way of doing submission's..
Im going to do some research with the clubs that are doing it and see try and change this club.

Also when i have a bit of time i will get rid of faving and commenting.

All submissions will eventually be deleted when we go into the new system. but will still be avalible to view.
